| Mike Messina officiates at the Tyler Lynde Memorial Kid Wrestling Tournament. The tournament, which has run successfully for eleven years, attracted hundreds of young wrestlers. Hauppauge head coach Chris Messina and his entire family help run the contest with the tremendous support from the Hauppauge Wrestling Community. The tournament is named after Tyler Lynde who was a Hauppauge teacher and longtime wrestling coach and fan.
