The three defending champions, Gomez, Benedetto and Wade, are in the consolations and are eligible for  newly-formed wild card entrants for the 2007 state meet. In the bronze medal matches, possible scenarios are Gomez vs Benedetto at 112 and Wade vs Swezey at 152. Islip has more wrestlers alive in the consolation rounds and  might enable  them to over take East Islip for the team lead.
