| Northampton (11-0) defeated Easton (8-1), 33-21, in a premier dual meet between two of the top high schools in Pennsylvania, before 2,042 fans, in a match held at Northampton HS. Northampton is coached by Terry Daubert and assisted by former NCAA champion Don Rohn, they are currently ranked second in the PA and #5 nationally by Amateur Wrestling News. The Konkrete Kids are by led senior Jimmy Sheptock (24-2) who is rated 8th in the nation at 160 pounds. He scored with a strong double and used a leg stepover to record a 44 second fall and gave the host squad a 27-21 led with one bout remaining in the dual. Also gaining victories were Josh Yurasits who used his quick snap/spin takedowns for a 9-3 verdict at 130, and Joe Piro who applied a front headlock/cement mixer to flattened his opponent at the 1:09 mark in the 189-bout.. Easton was led by freshman Mike Fleck who scored with a first period fireman's carry takedown and posted a solid 5-0 decision at 112, and Mitchell Manotti who used a bar/arm stack en route to a 7-2 win at 119 pounds.
