The Generals advanced five semi-finalists, including state runner-up, Mike Daly (24-6) at 112, 2004 county winner, Steve Delorenzo (34-1) at 135 and Dan Calvacca (29-2) at 152 pounds. Reigning champions that advanced to the semi-finals are two-time titlist, PJ Gillespie (34-0) of Long Beach at 125, state placewinner, Andre Harrison (130) of Freeport, Eric Burnett (33-1) of Uniondale at 215 and Sewanahaka District's Joe Goetz (25-0) at 275 pounds. Two sets are brothers advanced into semi-final action, the Eberleins of Island Trees, Matt (30-8) at 103 and Dan (36-5) at 135, along with the Daddinos of Sewanahaka, Dan (133 career wins) at 171 and Pat (112 wins) at 189 pounds.Top-seeded Paul Liquori (35-0), a freshman from Wantagh, advanced to the finals at 96 pounds...
