Jimmy Duckham (Arlington-1) works for a takedown on Mark Raghunandan (Long Beach-8). Duckham won the 103 pound final with a reversal and near fall points with 5 seconds remaining.
Sean McCormick (Johnson City-4) works his half nelson on Sam Speno (Fox Lane-1) en route to a 5-2 victory in the 112 pound final.
Nigel McNeil (Huntington-11) lifts Dan Ventura (Fox Lane-1) in the 119 pound final. McNeil won with an 8-3 decision to capture his second consecutive state crown.
James Dekrone (John Glenn-11) tries to ankle pick Steven Rodrigues (Fox Lane-1). Rodrigues won the 130 pound final 3-2.
In a battle of former state champs, Brian Realbuto (Somers-1) takes down Bob Dierna (Wayne-5) in the 135 pound final. Realbuto, a junior, won his second NYS title with a 9-7 overtime victory.
Conor Sutton (LaSalle-2) upends Adam Lepkowsky (Hauppauge-11) in the 140 pound final bout. Sutton was awarded a reversal after the buzzer to win 6-5.
Kyle Wade (Islip-11) has a single on Irvin Buck (Niagara Falls-6). Wade won this wild 152 pound final 5-3.
Mitchell Wightman (Warwick Valley-9) rides Kyle Diesel (Minisink Valley-9) en route to a 3-2 victory in the 160 pound final.
Chanse Menendez (Hauppauge-11) single legs Matt Lashway (Queensbury-2) to win the 171 pound state title 9-3.
Joe Kavanagh (Wantagh-8) works for a takedown on Frank Abbondanza (Mt. Sinai-11). Kavanagh won the 189 pound crown with a second period fall.
Warren Bosch (Kings Park-11) finishes this throw to a first period fall over Adam Donner (Niagara Wheatfield-6) to capture the 215 pound state crown.
Malcolm Allen (New Rochelle-1) controls Jonathon Desir (St. Anthonys-C) winning the 285 pound title 6-4.
William Koll (Lansing-4) takes down John Asianian (Edgemont-1). Koll, a ninth grader, won the 103 pound crown with a second period fall.
In a battle of former state champions, Derak Heyman (Tioga-4) picks up near fall points on Derek Pfluger (Sandy Creek-3). Heyman won this 140 pound final 4-2 and captured his second state crown.
Chris Nevinger (Letchworth-5), right, squared off with Brian Walsh (Watervliet-2) and secured his second consecutive state title with a 10-0 major decision.
Owen Scott (Palmyra-Macedon-5) singles Burke Paddock (Warsaw-5) en route to his second consecutive state crown with a 3-1 victory at 160 pounds.
Craig Scott (Palmyra-Macedon-5) singles Tony Lock (Pioneer-6) en route to his second consecutive state crown with a 3-0 victory at 171 pounds.
Nick Gwiazdowski (Duanesburg-2) works to turn Cole Tristam (Clinton-Fine-10) in the 215 pound final. Gwiazdowski pinned everyone of his opponents this year (43 in all) and picked up his second state title.
Anthony Abidin (Half Hollow Hills East-11) lifts Alex Gomez (Brentwood-11) to win the 125 pound state title 4-2.
