St.Anthony's dominated the competition at the NSCHSAA League Championships as they tallied 456 points to outdistance runner-up Chaminade (304) and Kellenberg (273). The Friars were led by reigning state champion Grant Greene (30-2) who posted three falls, including a 35 second pancake takedown in the finals, and captured the 119-pound class. Other All-State performers included senior Chris Brienza (39-1) who registered an 21-4 tech fall at 103 and Jimmy Morris (38-3) who used a tight spiral half to flatten his opponent at the 2:28 mark at 112 pounds. Other standout champions for the Friars were Jamel Hudson (130), Brandon Meisner (38-6) at 160 and Jon Desir (285). Hudson scored with his lightning quick double leg takedown and secured a third period fall, Meisner used a half nelson for a first period fall and Desir threw a hip toss for a 12 second fall for the league title.

Chaminade emerged with three winners; Troy Sampson (29-4) at 140, Jon Faglione (125) and unbeaten Brendan Fowler (27-0) at 215 pounds. Sampson used a series of single leg takedowns for a solid 9-3 verdict, Faglione posted a 5-0 shutout and Fowler scored with a double leg takedown and later executed a switch to a bar arm and secured a second period fall en route to the gold medal. The Flyers also had four runners-up; Glenn McKenna (119), Mark Vessio (145), Rob Chisena (152) and Drew deLannoy (171). DeLannoy dropped a 4-2 overtime decision to Kellenberg's Tom Re.
